I am a new member. My only toys are 40+ yr old springers. Happened across the 8000 and did not want to go PCS and this was designed by Bertta. Was a national match shooter for years. Too old to lie in the mud and pull targets in the trenches. So wanted to experience the gas piston. Scope was amazing considering the price range of the air rifle. What I notice is the very different recoil experience when compared to a center firerifle. For now indoor 50 foot range with standard pellots .. it certainly is not anywhere close to my Diana 75, however, I believe the accuracy is acceptable. Not experimented with various weights. Beretta did a good job. Only issue is the trigger, and I will keep it stock. It has a smooth but certainly heavier trigger than a match M1A.
