I've been studying moderators lately.
On a lark I bought some clear PVC tubing. I made this moderator for my Storm Rider.
It's the same length as the stock moderator, bit larger in diameter (5mm), and 3 dBs quieter.
It is as accurate or more accurate than the stock moderator.
I shot this 10 shot group while I was adjusting the sights it was shot at 25 yards. The first two shots (6 and 5 o'clock) I was still adjusting the zero. The last eight shots went into one centimeter in a stiff breeze from 10 o'clock.
