Be careful about the EDMU. I got one and it has a slow leak. Ed told me the inner gasket can be replaced but getting it apart without damaging the gage is impossible. There’s $100 I’ll never see again.

I would go with a Wika gauge, they are very accurate and can handle higher pressures. I love the idea behind a digital gauge but like in my line of work I can buy the SATA 5000brp with the digital gauge for an extra $400 or just use the analog gauge...Over the years many people have had issues with the digi gauge and for years painting cars I have never had an issue with my pressure gauge on that spray gun. But back on topic to airguns I think the same mentality of mine will stick here as well. I'll stick with analog until someone can prove the digi gauge will be 100%accurate and able to be replaced.
Centercut that stinks that you had to throw that gauge away, I think they are super neat and a nice novelty if it was to work out for you. It definitely makes the gun seem more modern.

@gaberossi, thanks. I think the EDMU is a cool novelty, but really not a necessity. Especially since when/f it leaks the oring is pretty much impossible to change without a special tool.

I wonder what that tool looks like... I may possibly be able to machine one if the demand is there.. I will be looking into this.

It would be like a circlip pliars but with three tits 120 degrees apart vice two 180 degrees. A normal small circlip pointed part (tit) is the correct size...

Glem.Chally I have been following your royale setup with that EDMU and I am really diggin it man! Thank you ! I really wanted the flattest trajectory possible with the 34gn JSB's which is why I went with the 60+ft lb setup. With my Airguns smaller than 35cal I use those as my fun/target/plinking guns, I wasn't really into hunting or killing animals but then I took a hunters course, went out with some buddies to get some hog on some private land so we can have some good BBQ and I was hooked. I am not really into small game hunting but I got my Bulldog .357 for hog and some long distance plinking and it has been a blast. I will be increasing my power on the bulldog as well. I can get Poly's and JSB's shooting 950-980fps but only 670-750fps out of my heavier slugs(NSA,Aeromag, HiArc etc.). I would love 900fps+ from a heavier slug for more stability long range! The only reason I want to have that power increase is for long range plinking(300yd+). I would only hunt out to 75yds, but I love to stretch out the legs on all my guns both air and powder to see what they can do. Plus putting a 1/2 hole in targets at 75yd gets a little boring after a while hah! I need some steel or soda pop cans to mess around with!
