How many big bore enthusiasts have had the opportunity to test their long-range shooting skills? It wasn't until I had my own range that I could. I consistently hit targets at 100 yards, then 150, and now I've reached 230 yards hitting an 8-inch gong. Recently, I purchased a 10-inch gong and am ready to challenge myself further. With access to a field over 500 yards, my goal is to surpass my current record of 230 yards. While I may not reach 500 yards immediately, I'm determined to extend my range. Do you have any experiences with your longest successful shot? Also, I've upgraded my equipment with an Athlon Argos Gen 2 8-34x56 scope. 308 Texan.

That’s awesome, I love watching people push the limits of what an airgun can do.

There may be more long-range posts like this in the ELR (extreme long range) section.
