yea, made no sense to me either. But no liability doing it. I wanted a explanation so I could understand but got no response.

I think you helped me via PM, getting the parts and extractor. You also indicated that going "magazineless" was the way to go. And trying I can see not only an improvement in accuracy, but also less pellet pickyness.

Something I've done in a pinch is use a torx bit that is one size larger than the allen head and tap it into place. It will usually remove one but anytime one picks up a hammer for such it is probably less than ideal.

Excellent suggestion worked like a charm!
