Last night, while trying to find a leak in the outlet hose of my yong heng, I ran the pump with the hose plugged. I'm there spraying leak detector solution on the fittings when I realized I had never turned on the water pump!!!! Temp shot up 111C before I noticed. Quickly shut off the compressor, turned on the water pump and began splashing cold water on the head, temp down to 29C in about a minute. I hope I didn't do serious damage!

That's 231 degree F. Pretty hot. Only way to fine out is to run the compressor and fill a tank. See if it will fill it up. It not, probably damage inside.

Yikes.. Cold water on a 200+ degree head may not have been your best choice. I hope all is well for you bro.
