I remember the first time I put the crosshairs on a collared dove and squeezed the trigger; the pellet went exactly where I wanted and I could watch it all the way there. It was a revelation and an experience that has cost me thousands of dollars since.

When I owned a Marauder I lusted after a Boyd's thumbhole stock. Those look really nice! My Mrod never shot worth a damn so I never followed through with the stock. Hope you're enjoying yours.My Marauders .22 and .25 with everything still well below $600 each.

Wow that sucks that your M-Rod never shot well... These still do today. I got those stocks from Lloyd when I bought my double kit for my P-Rod and the stocks were a deal I could not refuse at the time the red one was blemished that he fixed and can't tell and I can't remember the deal on the blue one. I wonder if you can even find them anymore?

I've become a big fan of Turkish walnut. I have a couple of PBs with gorgeous stocks that are made with it. I'll say it must be dense because the Cayden is a heavy sucker. It's a fantastic shooter though.

Had to chuckle. The under $600 gun topic has some of the nicest looking guns I’ve seen in a while all in one topic. Well, excluding the plastic ones.

I bought this 1 in 1992 used from Beeman for $170. The Beeman moderator was given to me in 1994. The tasco scope was less than $40 and the knock off ZR that I reworked was 15$. I got the d52 stock off of old Gringo for $100 6 months ago as the d48 stock had too short of a pull with no cheek pad.

Shot count = Unknown. Haven't cared enough to count.
Power level = Unknown. Hmm, I did check the fps a while back, but don't recall what it was. I can say that whatever it may have been, or what I may have had to adjust, it's now in the 800fps as are most of my rifles. Don't recall what is was out of the box.

Great looking rigs everyone. All I have are sub $600. However that allowed me to get hooked as well. And customize. If I can figure out how to post pics using my tablet I will take some pics and post.

BTW @Boostcreep this came up on the Classifieds literally 2-3 days after I finally ordered my refurb from Hatsan. Would have bought it in a second but happy it went to someone who is enjoying it!

It’s a Jumbo. I built that gun a couple years ago and had a topic about it on this forum. I think I made the barrel 15.5 inches but don’t hold me to it. Too many guns and builds to remember all details.
