Can you share your bench rest set up?
This with a rear bag. Prone

This setup is about as solid as I feel I can get honestly. Very easy to shoot like this.
My table is wobbly at best, $30 Amazon bipods and a compression sock filled with rice is what I'm using now. I need to make up some kind of bag riders for both of my bullpups. I think that will help me a little.

I picked up a few Aliexpres bags . The front bag was about 5 bucks and I filled it crushed walnut tumbler media and its worked well. I picked up some rear squeeze bags and the zipper came apart first squeeze , garbage, but I'll fix them. I use a wobbly table also and the fancy vise clamps rests don't work. Bags only until I get something more solid.

OK, I’ll take your challenge.

Went to the range today to get some practice in with my Thomas HPX, shooting FX MRD’s, outdoors @ 50 yards. Each group is 5 shots so these aren’t some cherry picked miracle groups. The first shot was aimed at the bull and if it blew off then I chased that hole for my other 4 shots. It is what it is, by an average guy … happily shooting a rifle that I’m not worthy to own.

Bottom right two groups were shot with JTS 25.4’s. I was going to shoot another card with them but they shot horrible so I nixed that idea.

32 groups totaling 10.78” = .337” average if my math is correct?

Awesome shooting my friend! That is definitely quite the gun you have there!

I shoot a 25 bull target with each bull having 6 rings.

The 10 ring is a hollow "dot" of 0.063" OD (aim point). Using 0.01047" change in MOA per yard - the 9 ring is 1 MOA ID at 20 yards, the 8 ring is 1 MOA ID at 40 yards, the 7 ring is 1 MOA ID at 60 yards, the 6 ring is 1 MOA ID at 80 yards, and the 5 ring is 1 MOA at 100 yards.

1 MOA at 20 yards is 0.21".

Indoors at 20 yards my Thomas BR < 12FPE .177 has averaged 21 out of 25 bulls with center shots NOT cutting the 9 ring over 30 targets.

Sitting at the table using my < 12FPE .177 FX M3 on a bipod and right shoulder (no rear rest) I am good enough to average 9 out of 25 bull center shots NOT cutting the 9 ring and NONE cutting the 8/7 ring over 40 targets .

When I move outdoors to 40 yards (0.42" = 1MOA) my goal is 25 center shot bulls inside the 8 ring with my < 80FPE .30 FX M3. I do this twice in a row and I will move to 60 yards, repeat until i am shooting at a 100yards.

1 MOA shooting at its best!

Excellent shooting in the 30y challenge. That's one accurate Vet you have. I ran across MOA challenge target where you try to hit .250" dots at 25 yards. I shot this one with 18g AEAs and my Vet standard. Should be a cake walk for you . It's under a thread by ThomasT that has various targets . I raised my bags for more comfort but I'm going to start using a better table. The misses are all on me .
