Has anyone purchased 1 of these new barrels or know anyone who has purchased 1 and could share their results?
28" ...nice ...is it pellet specific?Yes I have a .25 Skout Evo with a 28” SubMoa barrel! I am really blown away by the quality of this barrel. It’s really going to be awesome to get out and shoot this thing.
The barrel is about 3 oz shy Of 8 pounds. I unfortunately have not had the chance to get out and shoot it. I will tomorrow though.28" ...nice ...is it pellet specific?

Step 1 of the plan.... turn 5lbs of it into chips on a lathe.Curiosity piqued...what are your plans for a 36"/10.3lb or a 40"/11.4lb barrel?

I'm curious if you have done that in the past?Step 1 of the plan.... turn 5lbs of it into chips on a lathe.
Yes I've done it. There's no other option when ordering an uncontoured blank. I think the best method is to contour before drilling, reaming, and rifling but I don't know for sure.I'm curious if you have done that in the past?
I know doing that to a rimfire barrel will ruin it.
Thanks for your time!

I saw a few interviews on eric cortina's channel. Maybe bartlein? Again, I don't know for sure.Name a barrel maker that contours barrels before rifling them?
