Before anyone freaks out, I used the scope cam to record, wasn't shooting this beautiful bird. My awesome neighbor strikes again! Was wondering why the doves seem to be hanging out somewhere else lately.

Both the female and male Coopers Hawk eye color changes from grey to red as they age. Sometimes it takes as long as 5 years. I'm a retired wildlife biologist, but I had to look it up to make sure.
