Would love it if when a member marks an item as sold there was a requirement to add SOLD to the title of the listing (or do it programmatically). This would help members searching classifieds from opening old listings that have already been sold.

That is already incorporated into the current “classifieds” system. However, whether or not it is used it up to the member posting the ad. There is an option to edit the ad and mark it as “sold” once the item sells. Obviously everyone doesn’t do that. It was once required, but I can’t recall it being enforced much.
Edit: After revisiting the “classified rules” (04/02/2024) I noticed that a couple of things have changed. The requirement of a “Sold” tag is apparently no more. Not a bad feature to reimplement, although it appeared tough to motivate members to follow considering the amount of ads that are placed there.
