Hi all - any suggestion for nighttime optics for close range (3-10 yards) coyote problem? They generally show up around 2-3am. I have a DNT Zulu 5-20 but minimal field of view at close range. There is also minimal ambient light. Thanks
why would you need any optic at 3 to 10 yards ? I would be way more concerned about a yote 9 feet away from ME and not be frightened offHi all - any suggestion for nighttime optics for close range (3-10 yards) coyote problem? Great thanks appreciate itIm no expert. But i do have a tnc225r. And ive stayed at a Holiday Inn before. I would say the thermal is a must. It easily picks up rabbits at 400 yards and cars at about 3 miles. I can scan my field of view out my window in about 5 seconds. Ive picked up mice at 100 yards with thermal switch to infrared And whacked. The critters that hide in grass are dead meat lol. Nothing hides from thermal. In my opiniononce you try a thermal infrared combo you would never go back. I use the thermal day and night to identify heat sources of critters. Ive found rabbits and squirls on thermal that i couldnt find in day or nv switch back to thermal and whack. 5-20 day and infrared 3-12 thermal
