N/A Summer Solstice Range Time, HW97K and Walther LGU

Enjoying some time at the range this afternoon- calm and lightly raining. Targets shot at 50 yards, 10 shot groups (mostly). The HW97K is a .20 and is new. I have had the LGU for several years and is .177. A few of the groups can almost hide beneath a US quarter. Those groups make me happy.

Thanks! Yes, the Weirauch is one of the new Walnut stock models from AOA in 20 cal. It is the nicest walnut stocked rifle that I own.

Glad you like your rifle. I have had very good success with the H&N FTT .20's. Funny story. Last year I ordered a standard beech HW97k .20 from AoA. Took EIGHT months to show up. Two months later, walnut HW97k .20 calibers are for sale. Go figure.

I will try the H&N FTTs-thanks. They were out of stock when I ordered the rifle. I did get some H&N Baracudas, but this rifle doesn't like them at all. They fit really tightly into the barrel and are difficult to load.

Another trip to the range after work this evening. I shot seven 10-shot groups at 50 yards with my HW97K 20 cal and one group with my LGU. It was a perfect evening to shoot the air rifles due to comfortable temps and nearly zero wind. I wrote wrong hash mark next to group six, but I probably should have written correct hash mark. The following nine shots were using the incorrect hash mark. The Baracudas drop two marks lower than the JSBs, even though they are close to the same weight.
