Super low power from Kral Puncher Mega

Hey! Just got my .22 kral puncher mega and it is somehow putting out less energy than any of my 177 springers. Unfortunately, as Amazon messed up my order for a chrony and sent me a few dvd's instead (wtf), I won't have that until next week, but for reference; when I shoot it at a regular 1x4" plank of wood the pellet makes a dent about 4-5mm deep and bounces back out. I assume this is not normal?

If anyone has one of these and is willing to measure some stuff to see if mine is the same, I'd be very thankful! I would also love to know if anyone knows anything I'm doing wrong, as I'm new to PCPs! Thanks in advance! :)

Yep, it was originally made for the Swedish market, 10J, as I have a license I contacted the seller, who told me that the only difference between my gun and a fac one was a small set screw blocking the power adjuster. I removed it, and aside from the fact that the hole in the power adjuster is tapped, I am told it is supposed to be exactly like the original version. Hence why I would like to compare some parts with another gun.

Also, the guns are modified in-house by the seller from original guns, so I expect they would know if anything else is different from the regular version. Aside from that, I measured the hammer spring, which seems to be the sam length, but I have no way of verifying the thickness.

with a 2mm hex wrench, loosen the rear, left set screw that is just in front of the magazine.

 Press/pull the knob to remove.

the transfer port port should be just over 3mm.

Hey guys, I'm back after some testing with the chrono. My suspicions were indeed correct, not only does it not perform that well, it performs terribly! I shot 2 whole 12 shot mags of JSB heavies (18.13gr) through it and the average speed was 100,6 m/s, around 300fps from a 200 bar fill.

This means that the output is about 6 joules, or 4.5 foot pounds. Now let's start some real investigating! :)

does your rifle is regulated? do you have fac spring

have you tried to turn clockwise the hammerspring tensionning screw?

start here, and if even with hammerspring fully loaded you don't obtain the power, maybe is a weak hammerspring like sub 12 rifles

Indeed I have tried adjusting tension on the hammer spring and it has no appreciable effect on power. A weaker spring is a possibility, is anyone willing to measure the wire diameter of their spring? From googling I am fairly sure mine is at least the same length as a stock one!
