What a NICE fall November day !! nearly dead calm in the wind department, crisp & clear blue sky being @ 65* there about.
Set up started about 7:30 am with the lone MD gathering up the bricks into the truck and starting to disperse them into our field of play. By @ 8:00 there were a few others on site helping out and we have our 58 shot course set by bottom of the hour.
Today's match being our last one for 2021 was made a tad easier than typical also having 4 SHOOT TO RESET targets as extra point shots on lanes 3-6-9-11 Idea was to take your 4 shots on 2 standard FT targets for score, then address the Reset targets being knock down the KZ for 1 point, reset it for another point. If you DID NOT hit the KZ your done and no second shot could be taken. Those 4 lanes had a possible 8 points. FUN !!!
All said, we had some outstanding scores shot today largely in part to no wind typical at this venue.
A real stand out was Bill C in Hunter Piston ... WOW !!! The top PCP shooters present all stacked up just points apart ... Good shooting guys !
Being it was the Thanksgiving weekend it was a given our attendance would be light, tho said we ended up with 13 shooters all being eager & willing to get after knocking down some steel.
RESULTS of match are as follows, XX/58

At this time Jim Cyran is no longer my co Match Director having moved back to his home state of OHIO. Jim & I had been partners in the SVFTC club venture for @ 7 seasons and shooting air guns together for near 10 years. He will be missed greatly !! In his place to help keep the momentum going and helping out in the operation of month to month club match activities will be Fred Biergiel who has been with the club for @ 5+ seasons now. THANK YOU for stepping up Fred !
The match went along smoothly and folks were laughing which is always a good sign. Were done about noon time and had some snacks and drinks for everyone. Cleanup / tear down was speedy with everyone chipping in ... That's TEAMWORK !!
Thanks to all present.
