Swarm magnum gen 3

Do all those shot a ragged hole 5 shot group at 50yds if you do your part?
These are all guns I've been able to do headshots out to 178yds except for the katran .22 and U2 compact as I never took them that far. The compact is set up for low power, but the katran with pellets I've taken headshots on baby iguanas under about half inch diameter in windy conditions from 50-60yds.

I've run across a sweet deal on a daystate redwolf with a scope. Would normally not be able to afford that platform. So I'm kinda thinking spend a little more and get it. Have you heard anything bad about them?

Only owners having some issues with software updates and struggling to make certain changes in the computer. But I've only ever seen and few of those complaints. I can't speak of them from personal experience.

It wasn't that exact scope but it did kill a hammer scope that was rated for spring rifles. The problem is the sarm is a magnum piston. Or so I've been told. It also killed a hawke that was rated for spring air rifles and 2 vortex that the replacement said would hold up on whatever I put it on. Luckily they have a no questions asked lifetime warranty.
Dayam, I thought my Terminator was bad. I have a swarm whisper but it doesn't have the force to eat scopes like that.

Yea i like the gun. It shoots great. You get the occasional +30 or 40 fps if you are shooting a lot but the 1st shot is always dead nuts and that's the one that counts. I just can't keep getting scopes though. I don't think it's made to shot as much as I do. I was probably shooting 150 to 200 pellets a week. That seems like a lot gor a break barrel.

There is a dedicated scope mount that is supposed to handle the recoil and save your scope. I suggest reading over the reviews for both.

I've got a few of those around here. Shoot me a pm and I'll throw one in the mail.

They are okay, just didn't really help on PCP guns with kick. Might make the difference on a springer

As far as I remember they were made to prevent scopes from breaking on break barrel rifles, so they are useless on pcps. What exactly were you hoping they would prevent scopes from doing on PCPS?

Yeah, was one of the reasons I got into PCP. That and my hands (I'm old) just can't work with .177 anymore.

I'm one of the cheapskate rifle owners. I'd rather have 2-3 good rifles of various types and caliber than one high end gun. But if the right deal for a Daystate dropped in my lap I'd probably drop a few bucks on it.

Mainly the Terminator and Gauntlet. See if it would smooth out the jolt from them firing. Especially the Terminator. Minimal help. Is mostly vibration from the semiauto action and not linear action from firing. It did help the Gauntlet but nothing substantial.

$15 bucks on sale at AliExpress so I bought several last year

Haha, my Swarm Magnum is also what got me into PCP. My Blackwolf is shipping to me this week...
I’m shooting a Swarm Magnum and other than the noise.(Might as well shoot 22LR) the accuracy is dead on once I changed the junk Scope that came with it). But I’ve been shooting air since age 6 I’m now 67. In Basic training some guys had never even held a gun and it showed. Ive got a M21 parked right next to my Swarm.
