Today, I received my SWFA SS 3-15x42 Gen 2. I've had the Gen 1 for a while and I never really liked how the turrets lock on to the brass erector posts. I complained to them and asked if they could fix it because after a while, the set screw have really chewed up the brass posts. They asked me to send it in and they gave me a store credit for the full retail price of the Gen 1 scope so I could buy something else. I only had to pay the difference since the new version is $50 more expensive. I bought the Gen 2 which now has splined turrets and a zero stop! It's not the latest and greatest but I still really like this scope. It's been very reliable and the tracking has always been spot on. I even had my first one on a springer (Air Arms TX200) for a year before I bought my PCP.
