Symptoms of Broken Scope?

Hey guys, what are some of the symptoms of a broken scope?

Recently received a cheapy BSA optic with a rifle and the field of view appears heavily obscured and the reticle is drawn way out. No amount of adjustment brings up the view. Did my best to take a photo:

I've done it
Looked in a scope to be mounted and thought; what the hail?! come to find out I picked it up backwards we all make mistakes

Be careful! If you mount scope backwards, the pellet flies towards you instead of away from you!

If it's not backwards... you can test the turret tracking https://www.airgunnation.com/thread...he-accuracy-of-your-turret-adjustmens.117661/

If you can't get the turrets on target you may need to shim the rear scope mount.

I could've sworn that I tried from both ends and this was the correct side. But now I'm seriously doubting myself and afraid that I made the silliest post in Airgun Nation history.

No I seriously doubt that lol. That's a pretty honest mistake

Casino7095 made a YouTube review of an Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup that started with a backwards scope. Being a good sport, he didn't edit anything, just made a comment, corrected, and moved on. I've also seen new members question how to hookup a 150-psi shop compressor to fill their 3,200 psi PCP. You've only proved one thing, your human like the rest of us. WM
