TRR is a really neat range. I think it's the oldest range in the area, tucked into the urban sprawl. 

I've never shot field target. What's a normal course like? How many shots/targets are you looking at on average?

Hal4son, We shoot out in the woods unless the rain is predicted 49% or more, then we set up on the flat land and shoot from under the cover, the woods course is 12 lanes two targets per lane three shots per target (6 shots per lane) we set up two standing lanes, where we set up some of our resettable silhouette targets (so 12 total standing shots) all together it comes out to 72 total shots, the woods course is pretty much flat so no up or down angles.

Ps. This Saturday 9/4/21 there is a feildtarget comp down south Dave and I are going to, it's near Battlegrounds, it's at Clark Gun Club, Brian Esler and his wife Beverly run that computation, if anyone is interested in going to it, I can get Brian's number for you, here is the address.
