Tactacam FTS shots

Nice work. I am wishing I had a tactacam now instead of the sideshot. Thanks for sharing.

Me too as far as having the SideShot system. On half my scope set-ups because there is play or space between the SideShot and the scopes occular piece the video view is off center. That means I have to shim to get the video aligned. Even at that it isn't 100% effective and can be knocked off alignment. Bill

PS My thought was if SideShot extended their eyepiece cup about 1/2 inch and added three nylon set screws to fine tune the alignment that might help.

Mr. Center Cut, would you mind posting the o.d. of your tactacam? I am hoping that an older POV camera that lives in my junk drawer would fit the FTS mount. The dims I found on line list the diameter of the mount as 32mm, but I feel that is gonna be the scope side rather than the camera side.

Thank you, sir. You are a bad influence 😁, i skipped lunch today to start my tactacam fund.

Does the eye relief change when using the Tactacam mount? e.i. do you have to move the scope forward?

No, you do not need to change scope position when you use the FTS.

it can a little, but in normal to high lighting conditions you won't notice it. There's a 3 button custom mode thing you can setup right on the camera to quickly toggle between the presets of your choice. As I told @centercut I have one at FHD 1080p 120fps and one at 240fps at 720p. I have a 3rd in 4K at 30fps if I ever want to pull it out real quick of the FTS and film something.

I have some crazy outdoor footage coming soon to the channel. @centercut, you should submit some of these to fan footage... you're really dialing it in!
