I just got mine today, love how it shoulders, feels, trigger feels great. Going to actually do some real testing this week but question, is Talon Tunes the only place to get replacement stocks? I really want a green laminate

Huge is right, as set up she's looking a little top heavy, with the high mounted scope, extra mags and large side wheel. But if after owning so many sweet bull pup guns that's the one... Congratulations...

Yeah - she's definitely the one. Had the air tube apart today and bumped the reg up a touch so I'm getting ~36 fpe at max. 

Surprisingly all the stuff on top is really light. The mag holder is Al and doesn't weigh much. The mount and wheel are Al and very light. The scope only weigh 22oz. Actually quite well balanced overall.

Have a maverick compact and had a taipan shorty. Can understand the hullabaloo about the maverick. My personal experience is this the maverick compact is high performance- high maintenance . I miss my shorty. Even with it's eccentricities / limitations .

I also recommend the Taipan Veteran in .25. 30 inches long, 30 shots @ 60 fpe. She loves the 34gr JSB Knockouts. Built like a tank and holds air forever. If you run out of pellets or air, beat it with the rifle.
