Item #1 depicts how the Mutant barrel is placed into the breech and held in place by a grub screw.
Item #2 and #3:
Item #2 and #3 show how the barrel of the Veteran is screwed into the breech with no grub screw holding it in place.

Sadly no they do not retrofit. Mutants were a slip fit into receiver using a grub screw to hold clocking position & major barrel retention in the scope tower clamping.
Barrel had a drilled transfer port.
Vets thread into receiver ... They use a Thimble and barrel has no transfer port.
