I’m contemplating buying this rifle just curious as to what velocity the JSB .22 jumbo monsters could be shot.

The standard in .22 is a 35 FPE rifle so it should push the Monsters around 780. My long will shoot them right at 900 in stock form.

Thank you cannonball, from what I read they seem to perform best at 900 FPS or higher, looks like the long version may be the way to go.

Here is a pic of a Taipan Veteran Long .22cal with Huma reg, power plenum and stronger hammer spring. With the stock hammer spring it maxed out at 923fps with MRD's.
