Any of you guys that have a first gen Veteran in 22 cal should try the newer JSB jumbo Monster redesigned deep skirt 25.39 gr. I have had much better results than the old 18.13 gr.

Do they shoot well out to 100 yds? Out beyond 75 yds is where things always seem to fall apart with the standard 25.39 MR's. I tried and tried to get the standard 25.39 MR to shoot in my vet 1 standard with LW barrel... no joy.

Going thru pellet stash came across an H&N .22 pellet assortment package, decided to try each in Veteran Standard@ 50 yds. Nothing of note till the 16.20 grain Hornet, one with pointed brass tip insert. Hole in hole accuracy, suggest giving these a try, too. WM

My max shooting distance on my property is 60 yards. So know idea about 75 to 100.
I use both my gen one's for hunting mainly so I sight them at 35 yards.
