END at 56th shot

If I stopped at shot 45 the ES would be 7fps. The regulator was said to be set at 140 bar and that high setting seems not neccessary shooting 25.4 grain 25 cal. I adjusted it down and have the previous and new measurement for the reg setting.

Polished the washers on a piece of marble tile (uber flat) with 600 grit wet / dry paper then douched with acetone, soap and lubed lightly with pure silicone from the dive shop.

After having smoothed the bearing surfaces, anything you use will do the trick. This is an application with no complicated lubrication demands. It’s not high temperature or high speed or anything of that nature. The only pertinent advice is to skip anything that has a very light viscosity like air tool oil. So instead something like 30W oil (synthetic or conventional), Superlube synthetic grease, etc.

String looks good! How did the stem look? Any scoring/grooving from the washers? I opened mine up (before I replaced it with a Huma) and did notice some grooves my nail would catch. In my spare time I'm going to polish the stem, washers, clean and reassemble but really wish I had a reg tester. The lube I was going to try is a moly paste used for flat tappet camshafts, only because I have it.

The stem shows zero defects.

I'll post a pic of what I measured to arrive at the numbers I currently have. The reg setting can be derived from the shot string but the re-assembly is where things get goofy unless you have a baseline measurement. The brass wheel moves freely so it's unlikely that re-assembly will be anywhere near it was prior.
