The set screw holds it easily. Is it possible you have a small obstruction in the hole blocking the set screw from making contact with the HST knob? If not , go old school and take both back out and see if the HS knob threads are mashed down or flattened. Then last check the small knob is reaching far enough by screwing it back in with the HS knob out and look down that hole from the inside to see if the small screw is reaching through.

Thanks Rangur1 rechecked threads on the supplied thumbscrew from Donnyfl and the bottom 2 threads are boogered up. Looks like when they applied whatever the black coating is it filled up the last 2 sets of threads and hardened. This makes it too short to reach the hst to keep it from moving. I’ll be reaching out to Donnyfl to get a replacement just use the grub screw until I get a new one.
