Now imagine what it takes to shoot those higher power, large caliber guns. I think it's why I like my .22s as they can be more forgiving with hold. Well unless your shooting high power of course.

Four months after receiving this rifle, it's finally quickly gaining my confidence now. We started having issues again of squirrels getting inside our house. It seems this becomes an issue every few years if I don't control their population around our house. So it's mostly squirrels for the gun lately between 27m to 40m. Not a lot mind you; maybe about 2 or 3 per week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I'm not trying to completely get rid of them... just trying to keep them out of the house.
I'm not much of a target shooter so I don't do a lot of groups, but of the squirrels I've shot since figuring out "the hold", they've been all right where I was aiming. This morning's shot had me a little worried. 28.7m sitting on the fence. I think it has noticed me inside the window because it was doing the warning tail wags. I aimed for the left shoulder. I saw it hit, I saw the animal run partially up a tree, tried to jump across another tree and fell straight down. I couldn't find it initially. I even brought out the thermal. I went out there and found her under a pile of twigs. Again, hit exactly where I was aiming.
