I bought this Taipan Veteran 2 Standard in .25 from Utah Airguns on September 8th this year. It is the Grey Laminate Standard with 700mm barrel in .25 caliber with everything that came with the rifle, including the original box, manual, moderator, 2 magazines, and fill probe. Rifle is 36" OAL with Moderator attached.
This rifle is as all fans of Taipan say they are; well built, super accurate, wonderful trigger, and powerful. I'm wanting to buy a Huben K1 in .25 and this is part of how I will. raise the cash. I just can't justify owning 3 PCPs (Ghost, Taipan, and Huben K1). There are no issues and have been no issues with this rifle. It holds air great, no leaks, etc.
The only mod I've made to this rifle from the Vendor settings is to correctly and cleanly install sling swivel studs. I had the barreled action out of the stock when I did this so they are perfectly and securely installed. Easy to remove if you don't want them.
The sling, scope, and sling swivels are not included, but of course the sling studs are.
I hobbled downstairs just now (knee surgery 9 days ago) and put three shots of Hades 26 grain pellets over the Gamin Chronograph. The picture is a bit blurry but the speeds were average of 154 (1054, 1053, and 1057)
In a couple of pictures you will see the side lever "missing". I temporarily removed it to take some measurements for my plans to make a walnut stock for the rifle.
I don't like selling this rifle, but my hankering for a semi-auto Huben K1 is too strong.

In this photo with the box and manual you can see the very tiny little pressure bump just forward of the top of the trigger and cocking handle. About half the size of little finger nail. It is very shallow and does not go deeper than surface finish.
