It’s 12 groves. Barrel looked excellent under the bore scope. Perfect, sharp rifling with a mirror like finish. My barrels did require a decent amount of cleaning. They had anti rust inhibitors in them.Guess @anaranjo25 can tell us what he sees down his bore.
Mixing CZ & LW is peculiar too imho. Different polygonal rifling techniques.
i believe only the 550mm barrel is cz and the 700mm is lwi've been thinking of doing the same thing in .25......and if possible, have tony install the 700mm
cz unchoked barrel. it should create some serious power !!![]()
I say ....lolThe 550 in .25 has a unchoked, conventional rifled barrel. The cool thing about these guns is that you can tension the moderator and thus, barrel a little which you can use to fine tune the harmonics. These are basic rifles but built well, solid, smooth and the accuracy + precision is whats to be expected....perfect.
Yes until I saw the weight as well...After you mentioned the Veteran in another forum post where I was asking about length of pull on a Wildcat, I looked into the Veteran and the Veteran II. The tactical bottled fed II looked seriously interesting until I saw the weight.
