Tuning Taipan Veteran Magazine Not Cycling (Anti-double-feed not resetting)

Took the vet apart to adjust the regulator. When I got it back together the magazine is not cycling. When I watch the anti-double-feed ball bearing mechanism while cocking (after trigger pull), it doesn’t move. It seems the anti-double feed mech is not resetting.
