Taipan Taipan Veteran...Saved The Best For Last.

Started the afternoon with an underlever springer for around 100 shots than gave my Mini Carbine a 100 or so and ended the afternoon with my Veteran...Even though I was pretty tired and my eyes were beginning to fuzz out this Veteran just never disappoints....I shot one or two groups than printed these last three shots at 45 yards and thought that would be a fitting end to a fun day...18 gr JSBs @ 875 fps topped with a 40x scope...you can take it to the bank.

At 875 fps easly 60ish with 18's. Using Crosman 14.3 domes at reduced power shot count goes up dramatically. I usually use a single shot tray and rarely shoot an entire air fil in one shoot...a fill can lasy for weeks so difficult to keep track. I've been shooting a Kalibergun Mini Carbine now for some months, tuned to around 825fps with JSB 18's. The Mini can fill to 300b. I fill to about 280b and shot count is around 80....Love the Mini to bits somewhat lighter than the Vet but not quite as accurate in my hands but good enough...Overall not in the same universe as the Taipan Veteran....NONE that I've owned are/were except an older RAW TM I shot at a members place...THAT one was close...blew away my new Daystate Wolverine .177 first time I shot it...Veteran and that RAW triggers are hard to beat. Forgive long winded answer, I get carried away in my zeal for Veterans!
