That's true, don't risk steel wool. It might damage the factory bluing

Chances of me even getting to this project anytime soon are basically nil,.....go so much to take care before I can even think about this gun.

Maybe gift it to a youngster in the neighborhood. I would've appreciated a gift like this when I was young and didnt really have any money. Give a couple lessons on safety and you've recruited another one to airguns.

To be honest,...been listening to people about recruiting new folks into airgunning for a long time but I actually prefer to keep it as underground as possible,...never been one that likes to be part of the masses myself.

Never been a fan of Blueing on airguns, much prefer a flat black finish miself.
