Ia'm taking PCPs, tank, and Shoebox pump up to 16,000 ft (5.000m) on a shooting adventure.
What advice would you have for me️
Thanks!

Jim beat me.
Take oxygen to breathe...
Don't forget that the air density at 5000 metres will only be about 60% of what it is at sea level, so your pellets will fly as if you have a BC 67% higher. The BC will not change much, but it will appear as if it has. The gyroscopic stability will also be a lot higher.
Bring some paper targets/plates so you can re-zero and recalculate your DOPE.
Rainbow mountains?
With my family we visited in '18 before they closed to tourists.
sucker.... I have to work, too, you know....!
no worries, he will acclimate the tanks in he's backpack - by walking uphillWhat is the bar increase from your altitude to 16k ft, could it be more than the tanks rating? Might make for a hell of an explosion.
Can't wait to retire ;(
Let me give you one more clue, take a lot of TUMS with you, it'll help with altitude sickness. Oh and wear eye protection, for the UV rays. enjoy. I've been up on Mauna Loa and the air is a touch thin up there you're going higher yet by 4,000 ft.
Your Welcome found out about the Tums, calcium when we were on the N. Rim of the Grand Canyon, the Mrs. got altitude sickness and a ...here's the interesting part, guy at the front desk had happened to work for the same company I did, recommended it, fixed her right up. Good luck on acclimating it's going to take a while, I always got a hell of a headache if I stayed up there for too long.Very cool, Mauna Loa, I looked it up online.
Yeah, I'll load up on altitude sickness pills, don't want to spoil the trip with dropping my cookies (or more likely, dropping my roasted guinea pig lunch, that's a specialty here).
Thanks for the eye protection advice — I didn't think about that at all!!
Matthias
Will do.
Though, I think, if I enter the atmospheric conditions accurately into Strelok, major re-zeroing shouldn't be necessary, or.....?
Of course, on second thought — going through one hairpin turn after another, with one or two thousand feet drop-offs to the side, hours of riding bumpy single-track mountain trails, fighting through potholes and over fallen rocks — well, maybe a rezero will be necessary.....
However, fxorgive me, I'm not taking any gun with a drinking straw barrel — so.... — maybe the Prophet will handle this terrain just fine....!

Don't forget a good boony hat and your SPF 99 sun screen.Very cool, Mauna Loa, I looked it up online.
