Tuning Talon p valve

Wondering how I can get a TalonP type valve. I have two tanks with standard flow valves, for a smaller caliber Than I want to shoot. So I'd like to replace one or two of these with one of the high flow valves that comes on the TalonP tank.

Can anyone guide me how to find one? I have failed when searching online. I do not want one along with a bottle just a valve by itself. I mean if it was used and came on a bottle that would be fine as far as a new one goes, I don't need to buy another bottle.

thank you.

Know what you need...

If it's NOT a Talon p bottle (which apparently seems to have its own proprietary valve) you need the Condor valve to get power if using a bigger bottle.

Be advised the new Air Force (direct from Air Force USA) valve may not fit your older gun...

I believe that the large bottles I have (the ones that came with the talon ss) will fit a talon p valve which is the same direct flow valve as the condor but with the same bottle threading as the standard flow valve. That's what makes it an oddball. Since I have two large tanks that from what I have read have the same threading as the TalonP valve I thought I could save a little by finding a bare valve somewhere. I got this info from a very reliable source. TalonP and talon / ss use one type of tank (5/8-18 unf), Condor and Texan use another (M18x1.5).

I am merely posting the appropriate links and I would think Tony at Talon Tunes would know best among anyone.

Worst case you just send it back if it doesn't thread in (if they don't consider it "used" with an attempt to screw in your bottle that doesn't thread in) if they have a friendly return policy and be stuck with it if no returns allowed.

I would verify 100% compatibility prior to paying your money.

2 things...1 for airforce valves .. directly with airforce n you are going to ask for the condor rimlock valve for the standard bottle or the talon p rimlock valve for the talon p bottle..but if you have a talon p valve that you want to use .. you could use a paint ball carbon bottle or a adapter from pcp tunes to use the talon p valve in a m18-1 bottle....anything factory you need airforce will sell it directly to you..complete valves..valve parts..frame parts.

I confirmed from Air Force that the Talon P valve will not work on any large bottles. Someone had told me that the talon valve was compatible with one of the other gun's bottles but it must also have been a lightweight gun with a small bottle. Odoyle and others were 100% correct.

Any suggestions for getting a used condor valve?

Yep the other gun that uses the smaller bottle is the escape, which is kind of like a cross of the condor and talon, meant for being light.

if you haven’t already a wtb post in member classifieds is probably your best bet. I bet someone has one laying around after replacing with a talon tunes, pcp tunes, or eBay valve
