Talon SS LDC / moderator adapter problems

Hi all,

I have an AirForce Talon SS .22 and am new to this sport. Dove in 6 months ago with this gun and had headache after headache until I figured out the gun came with unsecured top hat valve. Got that loctited down and all good.

Donny's adaptors are supposed to be perfect fit, its the first time hearing something is not perfect.
I would suggest contacting Donny about it rather than trying to modify something that was supposed

to be a plug and play from the start. He may even replace your damaged end cap too if you explain

what is going on in detail. I am sure he would appreciate the input so it doesn't happen to someone

else's Talon.

I’ll definitely shoot an email with my experience to him but he replaced my adapter and the replacement is the exact same as the first. Fit and finish with everything else is perfect so it’s not Donny’s Adapter that’s the problem. It’s gotta be my Talon. My poor experience with AiraForce so far makes me not surprised it’s the gun that’s the issue. I’m likely gonna replace it with a higher end gun eventuallY. Looking at the TalonTunes moderator thats got two O rings -one on each end of adapter- I’ll have something machines that secures it to my off Talon.

pop/soda can shim around the part of the cap that goes into the frame?



would probably stop the wiggling
