Airforce Talon SS - leaking valve - need info on rebuild

How did you get a .457 barrel in the Talon frame?

That looks like a bog standard .22 or .25 talon. The end cap is 1/2-20 and is about .35 ID a .457 can't go through that hole.

but it’s most definitely.457

trying to find the male QD foster fitting threaded piece for it thus the need for information about threading type. as this appears tapered I’m guessing NPT Vice BSP.

If it is AirForce it is not BSP. My only guns with SAE thread screws. All the rest are metric or some BSP.

That is definitely a taper so that really only leaves 1/8 NPT.
