It's the factory airforce one. Here's the link for the bottle.Where did you get the ButtStock?
Most available don't fit a CF bottle
It's just the stock pieceI have a 0.5L CF bottle of the same diameter, I need a buttstock.
Seems a buttstock that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that fits a 61.5mm diameter bottle doesn't exist. It's just the stock piece
Yep, only works on bottles 60mm to 61mm.Like this ?
I think I seen more kinds at like AliExpress as well
Ok . I seen Alibaba or that AliExpress china Amazon's looked to show different kinds of that so maybe one of there's can fit .,?Yep, only works on bottles 60mm to 61mm.
So that ad lies, will not work on a Texan, they have bigger bottles than the Talon or Condor.
I could beat it on to my 0.5L CF (61.5mm) and then had to cut it off because I couldn't turn it to get it clocked.
Less than $10 on AliExpress, just cheap fairly hard plastic.
I bought 2, my aluminum 0.5L (60.5mm) is fine, can clock it, but I want one for my CF bottle.

I'll probably have Jake at jb3dpd.com print me a custom buttstock.
If I have to spend the money might as well make it look good too.
He does REALLY excellent work.

Nah, was baking bread & cookies. Some good info being generated here, thanks. I didnt know about some of the sites listed and others I was hesitant on ordering from.
Hate to keep interjecting my own AF guns in here and hijacking, but at least one of mine is a frankengun as well so seems appropriate.
Did get out today to do a little chony work on the two I've been tinkering with to see where they're at.
The Talon with reg is hitting right at 10fpe in .177. For whatever reason, I thought it was going to be a bit more, but I'm happy with that as a starting point. This is with PW set at 7. I was looking for around 12fpe for a plinker. Will tinker with PW settings a bit later. Still cold out.
The .177 Condor gave two soft shots at around 1074fps with 13.4 gr Monsters at 3k psi fill and then settled in around 1135. This is with the PW at 4-8. I have some 15gr slugs coming for it so will tinker with the valve loc kit, O ring behind the top hat, etc to try to get those around the 950 mark with the slugs.
Well, it appears this Talon does not like slugs. Some good info being generated here, thanks. I didnt know about some of the sites listed and others I was hesitant on ordering from.

I didn't like them, just plastic and hard plastic at that.I have a buttstock from Aliexpress in route to use on a 500cc carbon bottle build. I think you can use a heat gun or place it in hot water then position it quickly on your bottle. Should work and if not only out a few dollars.
I went with this one:I didn't like them, just plastic and hard plastic at that.
I tried the heat gun but the plastic in the center is just too thick, you start melting the outer layer well before the inner, and important, later even gets warm.
I also wanted something I could use on different bottles and they surely are not that.
