Airforce Talonp

My question is with the hi flo tank will it deliver more air making it more powerful or it'll be the same as stock tank?
Less.. because the talon p valve flows more air .. if you want more shots you could buy the adapter for the factory valve to a standard m18x1.5 tread... The only way to have more power is to buy a longer barrel.. if you make more power with the same barrel.. because you purchase a 90+ grams hammer n the heavy spring.. you will end with a useless 4 shot gun .. useless..

and here I am trying to lower the power on mine... haha. Everyone has already given good advice, but your post makes me wonder if I should throw a reg on mine. Just today I went from the stock .25 barrel to an 18 inch .22 barrel with the goal of around 800fps with the JSB monsters and a good number of shots. The reg should give a little more LOP as well.

There's a 19cc plenum, huben condor regulator in the classifieds for a good price 🤘

thank you, sir. I'd seen that one for a while now. Assumed that I would need the larger tank to use the reg as I thought the threads were different on the small tank on the TalonP. Pisser is that I used to have three AF tanks laying around here and I think I've sold or given them away...haha

I've not yet, but I did throw on an 18 inch .22 barrel today. Snowy and mucky out so no chance to play with the chrony. But yes, sir... that's on my to try list here!
I also have a condor that I normally shoot tethered. I have a top hat kit. Once I figured out the effective pressure range it actually gives a decent amount of usable shots between fills if I just run off the bottle.

They can certainly be tweaked for a good string. I've had my share of AF guns, but got rid of all but 6 or so. Now I'm back to playing with them more, most recently with a little TalonP so will be tinkering around on it. Mr. Lenardon is vastly more familiar with the TalonP platform than I am and has been helpful in getting me up to speed. I just havent had a chance to play much with the new toy due to garbage weather. I'm a fair weather shooter these days :ROFLMAO:

I get it. I have a condor and talon ss both in 25. I have some very nice pcps but always go back to my airforce guns. I have some plans for the talon if I can fit it in with my many other hobbies.

Quite simple:

Take your Talon, throw it to the waste basket and buy a newer technology.

Keeping an Airforce PCP other than as an antique is like having a Ford T and questioning how to have driving assistance on it.
I am far from new at squeezing a trigger as I've been doing it for more than 50 years and probably do it better than anyone on the planet & have backed it time & time again. I building custom firearms and airguns for a long time. Probably longer than some you've been alive and I can tell you my favorite weapon I've ever built or shot. I own 41 firearms is my Talon P Carbine With a stock barrel, stock valve and chew the diablos Hades pellet all day long at 980 ft to 1050 ft per second depending on the string. And I can put 25 rounds to the same exact hole every time at 43 yd and that's only because of the distance of my backyard where I hunt Vermin all night. Three streets away. I have a light post and I can hit it and it's 212 yd away. I hit it every single time. I can show you the video. It's about the size of a pigeon so I wish people would quit talking crap about Air Force airguns because apparently you don't know how to squeeze the trigger then or fine-tune a weapon. I don't shoot mine off a sled. I don't shoot mine off of anything. I put mine up to my shoulder and I squeeze the trigger and I will put $1,000 if against anybody out to 100 yd all day long so it is possible for him to change it get at that speed. All he has to do is spend the money. Spend the time and learn what he's doing. Kind of hard to teach somebody and show him a better way when all you do is criticize people. That's called being a bully. You want to put your weapon up. I'll put up my Air Force air gun and I'll tell you what all day long. I'll put a grand up on every single squeeze of the trigger Junior. By the way, my license plate here in Michigan was GUTPYLE Cuz I pay you more than 55 whitetail and countless other animals till I was hit by drunk drivers and pedestrian and now I'm paralyzed but I still shoot everyday until Vermin I can kill a 1-in field mouse. I can blow his face off in the dark at 43 yd
