Tank transportation and protection

What is everyone using to get their tanks to and from the dive shop and/or the field? I don't want it rolling around in my car and getting damaged.

AoA sells a bag but it's pretty expensive for what it is.

In the diving world the magic search term is tank roll control. Most probably just nest tanks with their gear. I use some dense foam with cut outs that match my 3l scuba tanks (light, cheap). If you have a (jig)saw and some 2x4 you could fab something easily.

I have a small omega football size tank I carry around sometimes.
When I am traveling and go in some place to eat it might be 100 degrees outside , In side my car is super hot.
I do carry the tank in a backpack as if that helped cool it off,
I do top the tank off before I leave the house to 4,800 psi
Oh I do not worry about my tank rolling around as I have all kinds of other gear around the tank , Camping gear and stuff.
