Total noob question. I currently own this compressor and I shoot a gauntlet .30 (which has a 4500 psi tank) I’m looking to get a scuba tank for range days. I read that you’re not supposed to fill a tank larger than 1.5 L with this compressor. Can anyone recommend a tank for me to get? Perhaps with a link. I don’t really know what I should be looking for, any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I’m fairly new to this. TIA

You can fill in stages at @ 30min runtime with sufficient cooling time inbetween. Then the compressor cant give a toss whats at the end of the fill whip!

Your main problem is that when you have a tank with 4500psi in it and does your first fill on a 4500psi gun it will be downhill from git go!
And the smaller the tank the fewer partial fills you'll get.
If you really want to fill your gun to a true 4500psi then it's compressor directly or a tank with a booster.

you could use what you have . run it from your car , just walk to where your parked , yea a PITA but cost is low . and you get 4500 fill

( My range has 2 electric outlets at the tables , maybe your range has an near by outlet ?)
I will definitely look into that! That’s a good idea
