Interesting that it appears to be a right handed grip on the pistol, but the glasses are for someone left eye dominant.
That's a much easier compensation with a pistol than with a rifle.

I consider the Walther LP3M to be the finest production Co2 pistol ever; be 'finest' measured in quality, performance, or aesthetics. Nevertheless, true to my well-documented pathological compulsion to soup-up any projectile-launcher employing compressed air or gas as propellent, upon diving into the gorgeous thing I found it just as beautifully SIMPLE to install a stiffer hammer-spring and lighter trigger springs to increase power to almost 6 foot pounds and reduce trigger let-off to my ideal 2 ounce first stage followed by a 4 ounce (total) trigger-break. Five shots at 25 yards measured 1/2" center-to-center-
Purchased pre-owned from the Netherlands some years ago, I painstakingly removed all body-putty from the grip and refinished it to expose the lovely walnut beneath. It came to me in this custom locking case (more lovely wood)-
Vintage-collectable ten-meter Euro exotica, at its finest.

My Steyr LP50 HP is a tack driver at up to 25 yards and respectable groups can be had at 50 yards.

Took another look and you're right. I mistook the smooth area for the trigger finger as a thumb shelf.

I have gathered a few 10m target pistols over the years, and these are the two I use when I'm serious about accuracy and collecting points.

I can't say there's a favorite. However, the red dot & new grip did greatly improve the Baikal.

Some stunning pistols, I’ve had a few over the years but currently (again) sourcing a baikal IZH46 - just now need a left hand grip.

I keep these on the table and ready for the duration of the winter indoor shooting season.
I can manage an honest 10 meters in the basement. .177 facing right, .22 facing left.

I have been posting this P40 of 2004 vintage whenever I get an excuse. It was as new from a collection being sold on AOA within the last couple months. I have rebuilt it including the regulator. Thanks to a mechanical recoil absorber and a ported barrel it is ridiculously accurate.

Not really target pistols but very fun to shoot. Took my HW45 BS and the mighty HW70 BA shooting today. Not as accurate as my LP400 of course but they are great can shooters at 20 and 30 yards.
