N/A Targets on the range

I got a cheap KYL target off of Temu, was less than $60.

I’ve shot the 4 largest targets on it with my .30 (75ft/lbs at the muzzle) and they’ve all held up fine.

The 4 smallest have all been shot with my Notos, which makes like 19ft/lbs maybe. All of the smallest have held up fine so far.

I’ve only had it for a few days so I don’t have a super thorough review of it, but for $60 I’d be fine using it the way I have so far (high power for bigger targets, low power for smaller).

However, MidwayUSA has a Birchwood Casey KYL on sale for $99. That one’s rated at 400ft/lbs. The Temu one has no power rating, it just claims to be ar500.

You get what you pay for imo. Anything that’s made for airguns will get tore up pretty quick. I use 3/16 steel minimum for my airguns, I think it will handle up to 300 ft lbs at target. I have some generic ones from Midway that handle the bigger caliber’s and recently got some gongs from shooting targets7 that are very nice.
