Tuning Technical Assistance Diana 56TH

I have a Diana 56TH. When I cock it, the rifle "climbs up" the stock, ending up too far forward, and I have hold the rifle vertically (or pull it back using the scope), let it lightly bump off of my hip, and the action slides back into position, and sit shoots perfectly and accurately. When it was new, I am certain that upon the cocking stroke, the stock slip up in position. The stock has been off of the rifle three or four times for cleaning, maintenance, and tuning. What have I done wrong upon reassembly? I have checked and the rubber washers and steel washers are in the right positions according to the parts schematic diagrams.

As I have learned to adjust to this, it is not a big deal, but I would like to get it back to where it is working as designed.

Thanks all!
