Sad indeed. I'm up here in the Jacksonville area for training and there was some crazy ass lightning storms in the area a couple days ago.

I saw that on a news site; tragic. I've came close to getting hit before and I've seen plenty of damage caused by lightning strikes. Sometimes it's a complete surprise with no way of getting to shelter first.

I guess when it's your time to go it's out of your control, hard to predict where lightning strikes decide to happen on the ground or hit higher up
It only makes you think why her, nature sure can be cruel
