The first relay begins to fill up and the shooters start sighting in. Bench and relay assignment is on a first come basis.

Nick Smith shot a 692/9x with his Brocock Bantam .177

Mike Bricker shot a 686/4x with his RAW TM1000 .177

Matt Kellerman took 1st place and shot a 740/28x with his USFT Spike .177

Peter Leduc shot a 721/15x with his USFT .177

Roger Lovett shot a 727/15x with his USFT .22 open

I took 2nd and shot a 731/22x with my USFT .22 open

LD took 3rd and shot a 727/20x with his USFT open

Gabe Valenzuela shot a 665/4x with his FX Crown .22

Jim Ziegler shot a 717/22x with his USFT LV .177 2nd relay

Jeff Carmello shot a 690/9x with his SynRod open 2nd relay





After the match we had a turkey shoot with air pistols at 15 yards. 

I took first in the turkey shoot.

Matt K and Gabe also took home a bird.



After the match we shot my Dawson Rapid at 50yards. Here are a few pics of my Dawson with a bit of work from 220Swift. I Haven’t spent much time with it yet but it’s looking like it’s gonna be a deadly hunting rig. Matt K behind the trigger in the pics.

After the range was cleaned up we headed up to LD’s garage/patio area for a great potluck with some excellent tamales.

Pistols at ? Yards (12?) were shot off hand either standing or sitting.

We fired 10 shots at this target from 15 yards. The shooter could sit or stand and use both hands unsupported.

That Dawson Rapid turned out out to be a beautiful rifle. If it shoots as good as it looks it may have been worth the wait (well maybe not)!

Thanks Guys, The Temecula club meets every 3rd Sunday of the month at LD's place in Temecula. We usually shoot 25 meter BR but LD likes to mix it up and we do shoot at 50 yards occasionally. Anyone interested in shooting needs to contact LD for further details, send me a message and I can put you in touch with him.

Fuss, We haven't seen Mike around for a couple years I think. LD has mentioned he was busy with work and other interests last time he spoke with him. I hope he's doing well too.
