"1BadDart"I got my 34 .177 out today to break in my new shooting bench. The weather was in the low 50's with the wind gusting from 4 to 9 mph from my 3:00. I was really worked on my breathing and trigger technique, after years of pulling the trigger in my first joint it's really hard for me to move out to the middle of the pad. Plus I tried to cut the end of my trigger finger in my lathe two years ago and some feeling is gone. These aren't very impressive but I feel I have another good rifle, the monkey behind it is a different story. lol
Not the "official" ten dimes target.
I took a break at lunch and left the rifle on the bench, this was warming me and the rifle up.
This is the next and last target.
Hey Dart... I too have many problems with my right hand and especially the trigger finger. What I did was change to my middle finger as the "puller". Took some time to get used to but now I am comfortable using either. Give it a try but know that it will take some time. What I like best about using the middle finger is that it changes the wrist position to a much more comfortable angle. Also try putting the right thumb alongside the right side of the wrist of the rifle instead of "over the top". Again it is all about the wrist angle........................Let me know if you agree and best of luck.
