Tequila Gun PCP

I’d be down for one.
He's got a second layout made, the logo is going to be painted in. I'm hoping I'll get mine next week, as soon as he gets the belt made. Oh, this guy makes western shooting holsters for the guys that can really shoot. He's also an artist so.....he can do some cool stuff. The belt shown is a sample.

Just received it a very short time ago. This thing is HEAVY DUTY, belt is nice and wide with suede lining so it doesn't slip.

The craftsman name is Larry of Michigan Rattlers Leather. [email protected]

The bit sticking out of the bottom is the suppressor. Not going to win any quickdraw contests with this.

On one hand, the work looks good. On the other hand, it seems that the holster should have been more contoured (shaped), similar to the gun. More character.

just an opinion.

This leather is THICK, it's two layers, it's about 5/16" thick, there is zero way to get it to be more conforming. It's very rigid. You have to see and feel it to appreciate it. I'm sure, with the mockup I sent him he could make a thinner one more form fitting. I was just happy to find some one that would make it.

I'm thinking the shape of the "bottom" (outline of the lower edge) of the gun. From the trigger guard, up to the air cylinder, and last up to the muffler. Not necessarily a tight fit, but, but not a simple straight line either.

Wow, 5/16", that is thick.
And for what it's worth, leather is actually pretty formable. A warm water soak will make it pretty pliable. I used to do some leatherwork back in the 1970's. Never made a holster, but many other things, lotsa belts. Words, shapes, cutouts on the leather face.

I understand what you're saying, I'm going to say that if it was a thinner material, one layer or, double layer then going to one layer on the edge it might have been possible. I've included a few images for reference.

Gotya.
The thicker material makes it difficult to make the leather fit tighter to the gun, making it more difficult to make the outline tighter around the perimeter of the gun.

Is this pistol even being made anymore, Or was this just a short run gun??

Tequila Gun PCP

I don't believe that he sold the run that he originally had manufactured.
I also know that he has spares of of many parts.

As noted, just send him a note...and...ask. Get a personalized answer made just for you ? All you have to do is...ask the...right...person, correct ? Don't ask the masses that don't have a clue !!

For the hell of it, I just put a laser sight (Holosun) on mine a few days ago... Haven't sighted it in yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Alfonso,

you are amazing!
I applaud your spirit of innovation! 😃

After I tried out a GK1, I realized that semi-automatic in a pistol is a very cool thing.

➧ And I have been contemplating to replace my trusty PP700 with GK1 with a regulator.
➧ But if you bring a Tequila semi-automatic (regulated) in .22cal to the market — I will give your gun my preference over the GK1. 👍🏼

Keep us updated, please. 😃

Wishing you all the best!

The attached video shows the progress of the project. Unfortunately I am lat on it, because I was using 3D print metal parts for the prototype but them did not works according with the expected.
