Tequila Gun PCP

Those fps and pfe numbers look promising. They are actually a bit higher than my modified AP16. You did well. With a bit of modification to barrel size, plenum space and valving, the .25 and .30 versions will do well, and you will have a corner of the market all to yourself for sales!

What are the numbers that you are getting with your Compact AP-16?

Hello everybody,

This was the set up

A vice attached a bench, in the bench a weight to avoid movement. The target was a piece of wood.

This is not a fancy or professional setup, but shows the performance of the gun.

It is not the compact model, it has a 9" barrel from port to muzzle. I have done a bit of a transfer port job and hiked up the regulator to around 165 bar and gave it all the spring pressure it has to offer with the adjuster screw. As far as numbers go, it started out right as advertised at 656 fps with 14.3 grain pellets. Without cranking up the regulator any more, the top numbers are:

Crosman pellets 14.3 gr--- 730 fps, 16.9 pfe

JSB Hades 15.89 gr-- 719 fps, 18.2 pfe

V.K. swaged slugs 22 gr-- 605 fps, 17.9 pfe

Xolotl -

Would you post a few pictures of your pistol on a towel, or table, an uncluttered location (not the grass as above) so we can see more of the details in your pistol ?

Some detail of the hinge/barrel interface, a clean shot of the gun with the suppressor in place, one with it folded, different angles, etc.

Thanks

Can the top strap, behind the magazine, be milled and taped for the use of a red dot sight ? Like for an RMR Trijicon / Holosun sight, (same foot print). In other words, is that top panel thick enough and still maintain its required strength ?

Also, if this is possible, is this something you could do at purchase ?

Mike

Yes, this is an option, the trijicon can be attached using the rear Milano tail. The attached video show it.

Don't know the "Milano tail" !?

I looked up Milano, found nothing. Is this an adapter like this - https://www.egwguns.com/trijicon-rmr-sro-holosun-407c-507c-mount-for-gi-1911

Yes, I designed a adapter like that to use a trijicon in the gun. And it is attached to the rear dovetail. In Spanish is “Cola de Milano”. Sorry for the confusion.

Ha...perfect.

A note, the Holosun sights (the pistol versions) have the same foot print as the Trijicon pistol sights. So both will be usable. I just happen to have a spare Holosun sight waiting for something to put it on !

Forgot to ask... Approximately, what do you think the lead time will be, from order to shipment time ?
