Tequila PCP Airgun

I have to say you see a lot of people design stuff that never see's light of day.

did you go with titanium on air tank? I don’t see benefit for prototype, but you could offer as upgrade.

is that barrel 11.5 inches?

very impressive looking forward to video, 12fpe is plenty to kill small game so looking to an honest clear video with chrono and target at 10 meters.

The current 7075 alum tank is made using a rod instead a tube, it has an ultimate tensile strength of 540 MPa (78,000 psi) and yield strength of at least 480 MPa (69,000 psi).

It must be capable to hold 15,000 psi. For this reason the Ti tank upgrade is not an option.

The customer can choose the length of the gun as he need. The standard lengt is 7.5 and be increased by one inch. The barrel increment included the deposit increment. When the barrel length is mayor than 9.5 inches the plenum will be increased too.

The video only will show the gun capabilities, and will be do in a controlled ambient to discriminate external factors. Also the gun will be indexing in a nest and clamping to avoid shooter interference. I will use the following chrono to measure the bullet speed.

I love the look of that pistol! I sent you an email, but am curious about that pistol in ,.25 and what the power and shot count will be for the setup above vs if you offer it say in a 1" longer version. Also what would that cost with your unique suppressor and a couple extra magazines? I am a left handed shooter but am curious what your thoughts are on being left handed as since it requires the cocking lever, it might be fine with the lever on the right so that I keep my left hand gripping the gun and just take my other hand to recock?

Also curious what other left handed shooters feel about what side the cocking lever would be best for a lefty?

I received your email and was answered, if you have more questions or comments please contact me.

The .25 calibre is the second stage of this project, also the .177 and .30 calibre are contemplated. For the moment I will be focusing in the 0.22 calibre.

The gun will be available in left and right side lever action.

The folding suppressor cost will be around $145.00. It is made only using 7075 T6 Alum and the monocore is made of Nylon (3D Print).

The magazine cost will be $60.00, made of 304 SS.

I have some issues with the valve, the hammer can not open it. So I redesign the following items: hammer spring, add extra spring, modified the spring compresión screw, and add extra spring and compresión pin. The next week I will received the pieces.

On the air pistol forum you stated above that you were having technical issues with the pistol regarding the hammer, valve, are those fixed now? Like airguns85 said we would want to see real life video of it working, shooting, accuracy, power, etc. I like the look of the pistol and want to see real performance tests...

So full of amazing, make a 500fps model for Canada please haha.

Sure!!

The goal is ship Tequila Gun to anybody want it. And to adapt it to the country airgun laws.

There are two ways to limited the pellet velocity.

1. Decreasing the plenum pressure.

2. Adding a flow restriction in the transfer port.

Solid plan Alfonso, can't wait to get my hands on one!

Any change you going to make them in 177? Looks great and would love to try one. Definitely dig the foldable stock you had even though it seemed a little skinny/weak. Personally I would lose the full lower rail as every oz counts at the front of the gun.

The folding stock design is very strong almost equal or better that AR-15 folding stock.

The user can take the stock in the but stock area and shake the carbine, any component would not be bending. The feeling of the action would be equal if are shaking a solid metal bar.

The picture shows two aluminum protrusions that are used to indexing the both hinges components.
