There is a bit of learning, it's a computer with a TV screen and VCR. I have not shot mine at night yet, but is great on ground squirrels and birds. Gave fun.

I was really keen on getting one of those, but the incredibly high levels of negative reviews kept me from it. I hope yours works out for you. It seems like it would be amazing fun to use. Great shots BTW!

As with most higher tech and steep learning curve items I would expect half of the complaints are unfounded and simply user error.
